Winter Bag: my cult movies: to Wong Foo, thanks for everityhing, Julie Newmar:
I like an actor when he/she is able to stake, to change and become someone completely different without taking his/her self so seriously. When I saw Patrick Swayze acting in this film I couldn't believe what I was looking at.
Can you remember the sensual dancer in Dirty Dancing? the tunned surfer/robber in Point Brak? or the romantic Sam in Ghost? Here it is, forget about everything because in this film the actor from US plays the polished drag queen Vida Bohem who start the journey to Hollywood on a Cadillac to join the competition "America's Drag Queen" with two colleagues (amazing Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo).
It is a lively comic tale that gives style and tolerance lessons. I suggest you to watch it if you like those films which are not predictable and make you have fun but also make you think...without talking about the pleasure to see one of the most sexy hollywood actor wearing designers and feminime draag queen style clothes!
