Kreativitätstheorie - Stempel aus Radiergummi nach Geninne Eraser stamps
1. Ein Speedball Linoleum Messer ist das Werkzeug zum Stempel schnitzen. Ich nehme Nr. 1 und Nr.5. Die Nr.1 benutzt man zum Schnitzen der feinen Linien und die Nr.5 für die größeren Flächen.
1- A Speedball linoleum cutter is the tool you will use to carve your stamps. I use the No.1 and No.5 cutters. The No.1 is for carving out fine lines and the No. 5 for carving out large areas of the stamp.
2. Um Eure Stempel zu machen, könnt ihr jeden festen/weichen Radiergummi benutzen (ich empfehle Staedtler Radiergummis, das funktioniert tadellos) oder man benutzt spezielle Schnitzblöcke, die extra dafür gemacht sind, z.b. MasterCarve, E-Z Cut, Soft-Kut und viele andere. Für diese Anleitung werde ich Stempel aus Radiergummis machen, die für jeden einfach erhältlich sind.
2- You can use any kind of dense/soft eraser to make your stamps (I recommend Staedtler erasers, they work like a charm) or carving blocks made specifically for this purpose like MasterCarve, E-Z Cut, Soft-Kut and many more. For the purpose of this tutorial I will make stamps with erasers which are easily available to everyone.
3. Ein zuverlässigs (und sehr gefährliches) X-Acto knife um den Radierer auf die gewünschte Größe zu schneiden. Bitte seid vorsichtig mit diesem Werkzeug! und steckt nach jedem Gebrauch die Schutzkappe zurück.
3- A trusty (and highly dangerous) X-Acto knife for cutting the eraser or block material to the desired size or shape. Be careful with this tool! and always put the protective cap back on after each use.
4. Dokumentenechtes Stempelkissen. Es gibt so viele verschiedene Stempelkissen. Ich nehme StazOn, oder VersaColor, aber Ihr könnt genauso gut schwarze Stempelfarbe aus dem Bürobedarf benutzen.
4- Any type of archival ink pad. There are so many kinds of ink pads available out there! I use StazOn, or VersaColor, you can also use black ink pads from office supply shops.
5. Einen Bleistift No.2
5- A No.2 pencil.
6. Etwas weißes Papier für einige Stempeltests und um das Motiv zu zeichnen, das Ihr auf den Schnitzblock kopieren möchtet.
6- Some plain white paper to do some stamping tests and to draw the image you want to transfer on to your carving block.
7. Und last but not least: eine Idee
Ihr müßt entscheiden, was Ihr machen möchtet….Ich würde mit einem einfachen Basismotiv anfangen. Ich benutze mein Tränenmotiv
ständig oder einfach ein simples Dreieck, wie die fröhlichen
Weihnachtsbäume, die ich kürzlich veröffentlicht habe. Üben, üben, üben
und in kürzester Zeit werdet Ihr die schwierigsten Motive machen können.
7- And last but not least: an idea You have to decide what it is that you want to make…I would start with a basic simple shape. I use my teardrop shapes all the time or just a basic triangle like the happy Christmas trees I recently posted. Practice, practice, practice and in no time you will be making more intricate shapes.

So many fun things you can make with a simple eraser stamp…like
personalizing your sticky notes or notepads, making your own stickers,
etc…

Das ist eine Liste der Werkzeuge, die ich zum Stempel machen benutze.
Ihr könnt natürlich auch andere
Alternativen benutzen. Ich verlinke jeden Artikel mit Dick Blick,
einfach weil sie gute Fotos haben und ich dort normalerweise meine
Sachen einkaufe. Aber alles kann natürlich auch in jedem anderen
Geschäft in Eurer Nähe gekauft werden.
